WHEN DOES THE HAIR LOSS HAPPEN?
Hair loss in the fourth Trimester doesn't happen right away. It takes about 3 to 6 months to kick in. Either way, it is scary. Plus its a bummer not to have thick locks you acquired while pregnant. However, it is totally normal, but if your hair loss is excessive, see your doctor to check out what is happening.
SOME AT HOME REMEDIES
- Be gentle with your hair when washing, brushing, and styling.
- Stay away from tight hairstyles that pull on your scalp and hair
- Keep up with your prenatal vitamins
- Castor oil scalp massage. (my fav) It helps stimulate blood flow to your scalp and adds hydration.
OUR GO TO - CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS
During postpartum hair loss, we recommend avoiding standard extension processes like Keratin Bonds or Tape-ins. You want to minimize the strain on your strands. However, Clip-ins are the savior for postpartum hair. They are easy and affordable, and you can take them out to give your hair a rest. They can make you feel better by giving you great hair days with little effort. And feeling good when you can is so important because being a new mommy is tough and tiring. SHE clip-ins come with nine pieces of beautiful Remy hair, with multiple sizes to fill in where you need it.
